Using BRMS on V5R2

How do you append data to the same tape cartridge? Our backup frequency is once a month, but we're putting one year's worth on the same tape cartridge. BRMS likes to go get a new volume each time instead of using the same cartridge. Is there a solution to this for BRMS? Can it be done manually?

This can be accomplished by specifying "Append to Media *YES" for the control group attribute.

You can change this value by using "Option 8 Change Attributes" for the control group, from the "Work with Backup Control Groups screen.
