We plan to upgrade some of our systems to V5R2M0, but we'll still have a number of machines at V3R7M0. Are there any known problems transferring data between these systems?
The upgrade path from V3R7M0 to V5R2M0 is not supported. Please take a look at i5/OS and OS/400 Release support. I would strongly advise that you contact IBM Support on how to best achieve the upgrade path from V3R7 to V5R2. You may be in for a long, tedious process.
