I have a HP LaserJet 4250 set up as an AS/400 printer and I wish to stop separator(?) pages from being printed. These pages contain:
User: (user profile)
Host: (as400 name)
Class: (as400 ip address)
Job: (print file name)
User: (user profile)
Host: (as400 name)
Class: (as400 ip address)
Job: (print file name)
I am not sure if this is a printer or AS/400 device configuration issue, so would appreciate any advice.
It could be either a printer issue or the iSeries. You would have to provide a copy of the iSeries device configuration for me to really tell. But if you want to check the iSeries side, look at these portions of the device description:
Separator drawer . . . . . . . . . : SEPDRAWER *FILE
Separator program . . . . . . . . : SEPPGM *NONE
Separator drawer . . . . . . . . . : SEPDRAWER *FILE
Separator program . . . . . . . . : SEPPGM *NONE
If these are set to default values (as shown above), then the separator pages are coming from a printer setting, not the iSeries.
