from AS/400 to PC I have got the message 'Remote host system rejected the open attempt'. This is how I use this command:
SNDTCPSPLF RMTSYS(*INTNETADR) PRTQ(LTSA) FILE(CDS001P) JOB(325164/GFIDELIA/SYSADM2) SPLNBR(1) MFRTYPMDL(*NONE) INTNETADR('10.1.1.100')
The SNDTCPSPLF process utilizes the LPD/LPR IP servers. This is a client server process that requires active servers on both hosts.
The iSeries 400 supports both functions so you can send a file using LPD to another iSeries where it is received with LPR. Your PC will need to have an active LPR server in order to accept print sent via LPD from the iSeries.
In my opinion, a better way to transfer report output to your PC is to use the Drag and Drop functionality in OPS Nav or to use one of several software packages that e-mail iSeries spool files from the iSeries.
