I have established remote journaling between my production and DR System. I have tried to write a CL to automate the process of applying journal receivers extended but to no avail. I.e. As soon as a receiver is detached, the system should apply it. What am I doing wrong?
Remote journaling support only replicates journal entries to another system. It is "your" responsibility to apply these entries to your database on the remote system. This can be a very complicated process too... And that is the reason why the "High Availability" vendors can charge so much money for their software products!
