Problems starting NetServer
At startup, I get CPIB683, The AS/400 Support for Windows
Network Neighborhood (AS/400 NetServer) was unable
to start.
Reason code 10, return code 3. Then
AS/400 Support for Windows Network Neighborhood
(NetServer) QSxxxxxxx ended.
I do not have a QSxxxxxxx object or an IP address
for it. How and where do I
create this and what route info do I need. Current
IP seems to be addressed
through the NetWare card.
1. The QSxxxxxx is the default AS/400 NetServer name.
This name is composed from Q and the system name. You
can choose to set to different name using Operations
Navigator NetServer configuration.
2. The problem you see is caused by timing issues
(most of the time) look here for an explanation and
solution.
