I'm trying to configure DMZ with Client Access for Windows. I'm trying to access Data Source on iSeries, but it keeps timing out with the following message:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver]Connection login timed out.
Do you have any idea as to why this is happening?This is probably due to port restriction from the DMZ to the internal iSeries. You need to keep the port number open for the sign-on server and database server. You can find a list of ports here.
