Making the CPYTOIMPF command work on release 4.6

We are using the CPYTOIMPF command. We just upgraded our OS to release 4.6, and now this command does not format the file the way it used to. Can you shed any light on the subject?

Not knowing what format change has occurred, nor the format that you are attempting to output, it would be a little difficult to determine what has changed. There seem to be fixes for different field types including varchar, graphic, nulls and zoned decimal.

I assume (because 4.6 doesn't exist) that you upgraded to 4.5. Having said that, you will need to search for the appropriate PTFs using the http://as400service.ibm.com site. You will be required to register or use your support IDs, which should have been supplied with your system or contracts with the upgrade licenses. If you don't have them or know them, you can still register for the Internet PTF Download, which is free. If you have upgraded to 4.5, as a minimum the following PTF's apply (These will include both the CPYFRMIMPF and the CPYTOIMPF):

SF62140 450 OSP-DB CPYFRMIMPF DEFAULT VALUE FOR NULL FIELDS
SF62782 450 OSP-DB-INCORROUT VARCHAR/GRAPH FIELDS ON CPYTOIMPF
SF63549 450 OSP CPYFRMIMPF BRINGING IN DATA TO A ZONED DECIMAL DATABASE
SF64072 450 OSP-DB-INCORROUT ON MIXED CCSID CPYFRMIMPF
SF62142 450 OSP-DB-UNPRED NON-MRI COMMAND FOR PARALLEL DATA LOADER
