Q

MSF to be active in order to use SNDDST

Do I need MSF facility to be active in order for SNDDST to send outgoing mail? I've configured SMTP and can see SMTP jobs running, but not QMSF jobs.

You are correct, you do need the MSF to be active in order to use SNDDST, etc. To start MSF execute the command STRMSF on a command line. If you always want this to start, you might consider adding this to your startup program QSTRUP.
