that could not find class like String, Object. I'm attaching the output at end of the message. The Java command works fine. Also, if I set Java Version to 1.2 ans 1.1.8, Javac works fine.
It appears that a class is missing, or your arguments are not being interpreted correctly at compile time. You can enter the command shell using the QSH command. Run your Java compile using the -verbose switch. This should show you the step and class that is not being interpreted correctly. In QSH, you can get help for the Java and Javac commands by entering the -h switch: java -h.
