I am trying to do a 'save as' of an Excel spreadsheet to an AS/400 IFS folder through a FTP location setup. The folders appear, but trying to select one gives an error message: The folder isn't accessible. The display of the folders doesn't look correct. Trying the same to a RS/6000 works fine.
What client are you using? I can think of three reasons:
1. You are not authorized to the directory.
2. You're trying to access QDLS and your user is not in the
directory entry.
3. You FTP software doesn't understand AS/400 naming
formats (this can be changed on the AS/400 FTP server
by changing the initial name format parameter starting
from V5R4)
