I am trying to copy an Excel file from my Windows desktop to a mapped shared drive in the root of IFS. I have full permission to the Directory so I don't understand why I'm getting an access denied messages.
You may have defined the "share" you are accessing as READ ONLY. You can easily verify this using iSeries Navigator. Using iSeries Navigator select "System Name" >>> "File Systems" >>> "File Shares"
Right-click on the share in question and select "Properties". Make sure the "Access" value is set to "Read/Write".
