After completing disaster recovery restore to the same AS400 after having three damaged disks, I am getting message CWBC01049 - The AS/400 server application is not started when trying to connect via Client Access.

What do I do?

Most of the time this message indicates that some iSeries Access servers are not started. Try to restart it using STRHOSTSVR *ALL . To check whether the services are started, use command NETSTAS -> choose option 3 -> see ports starting with letters as in listen state.
