Creating a query in which there is a need to concatenate the name fields in the database.

I am creating a query in which I need to concatenate the name fields in my database. I can use the concatenate...

function, but the field is space filled so on for a name of Joe J. Smith, the result field is Smithxxxxxxxxxx, Joe J.(the x's represent blank spaces). Is there a trim function that will eliminate any these blank spaces?

Not in AS/400 Query. You will need to write a program to do this.
