I want to create a user profile in V4R3. This user should not be able to change his password. This facility is available in NT 4 upwards. I just have to select "user can not change password" option in NT 4, but how to do the same in OS/400 V4R3? My QSECURITY is at 30.
You could explicitly revoke authority to the CHGPWD command for this user.
For example, to revoke authority for user KGRAAP:
GRTOBJAUT OBJ(CHGPWD) OBJTYPE(*CMD) USER(KGRAAP) AUT(*EXCLUDE)
